Kitchen Re-plastered In Sheffield Bond And Skim

This little kitchen in Sheffield was probably one of the smallest we have had to work in.

The original plaster was in a very poor condition so we had to bond it out before we could carry out a re-skim.

Bonding is basically an undercoat plaster and is used where we have to patch up areas of the wall that have been damaged. It is quite a course type of plaster that provides a good solid base for the fine smoother skim coat or top coat of plaster to stick to.

Once it had been re-skimmed this little kitchen looked like a totally different room and will look like a new room altogether when it’s painted and the new kitchen installed.
